Rides are available from our own licensed trekking centre. Come and ride over the high scenic moors and along tree-lined tracks to splash through the rivers of beautiful Hamsterley Forest.

We have very capable escorts who take small exclusive groups of up to three experienced riders aged eight and over for treks from one hour up to four hour picnic rides and even seven hour day treks. Our friendly horses and ponies have lived here most if not all of their lives and some compete at local events. See them in our photo gallery.
For horse and pony owners we have competitive livery rates if you wish to bring your own horse or pony on holiday, or for longer. We are situated perfectly for you and your horse to head off in any direction for a lovely ride.
